I am looking for a sporty sedan in Arkansas. I have a suv & I would like a car to drive sometimes. Also I guess it really should seat 5. I dont want to pay much maybe $2,500. So it's ok if its older as long as it is clean and needs no majoir repairs. (my husbands a machanic and he can fix anything but, I dont want to invest much in parts) Any ideas of types or anyone looking to sell?

Test drive a Volvo 850 and see how you like it. The parts can get a little pricey from time to time but if your husband is a mechanic make sure he checks it out and you should be ok.

Hondas are known to be pretty reliable. There's no perfect answer to your question, $2,500 doesn't buy too much car. At that price you *will* need to do repairs, I guess the question is whether or not you're willing to pay for them.

You can't get much for $2,500 but you might want to look at an older VW Jetta, Ford Taurus or Chevy Malibu. Even an older Toyota Camry can be sporty with the right tires and a little bit of work. Ford used to have a version of the Taurus called the SHO that was very sporty indeed.

Finding something in decent shape that will be reliable for $2,500 will be tough, though.

seek for a Jaguar X form or S form. you need to have the skill to locate a great one for that funds if it became a 2006 or 2007. Others to evaluate are Mercury Milan, save away from Charger, Chrysler 3 hundred, Lincoln MKZ or Cadillac CTS
