Christ is love, hate their sins, do not hate them. If you read your bible you know that God said he would bless the seed of Ishmael, so God loves them, shouldn't you? If you are a Christian, you know that they will not be destroyed.

I do not hate either side in this dispute. I know that both have done many wrongs, and had many wrongs performed against them. Hate will only beget hate.

[God to Abraham] And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year." (Genesis 17)

Aslongasitsfunky,

It is interesting to note what Jesus said in the book of Matthew. He said to love your enemies, to pray for them, to do good to them, and to bless them. He said that this was what would make us perfect, even as our Father in Heaven is perfect, since he cares for the wicked, as well as the righteous. Personally, I think that this, is the cross that Christians are supposed to bear. Jesus tells us to take up our crosses and follow Him, but does not give any details about what this means. I cannot think of anything more unbearable, than loving and blessing those who have harmed you, or threaten your way of life, if not your life itself. I consider myself a disciple of the Master, and this is the most difficult part of my walk with Him, without a doubt. It is not our place to judge those who disagree with our faith. When we do so, we have cast down God's mercy, and fallen back under judgment.

it's never right for a Christian to hate anyone. the second greatest commandment to Christians, after loving God, is to love each other.

we're not going to go to hell for it, however, if we have been truly saved, because Christ paid the penalty for us so we can have eternal life if we repent of our sins and believe in him. Hopefully if anyone is struggling with hatred they will repent. If they don't it doesn't mean they go to hell, but they will be accountable to God for their actions and thoughts when they reach heaven.

i don't know what you mean by saying Muslims won't be destroyed. it's true that Islam and Christianity (as well as Judaism) have common roots, but Christians are taught that anyone who hasn't accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior won't go to heaven. This applies to everyone.

But i agree that hate only begets hate. i wish there was less of it. that's why i kinda like this yahoo!answers thing, b/c even though ppl can still be pretty hateful on here, it gives ppl a chance to discuss things reasonably instead of blowing each other apart. thanks for not wording your question in an inflammatory way; you're less likely to get hateful anwsers that way.

I hope maybe this clarified things for you! :)

Christians does not really hate muslims. they only have different ideas on religion. Christians based their religious activities on the bible while muslims based theirs on the koran Christian sinners will go to hell and this include christian haters of muslim. God commanded us to love one another either muslim or christian

Muslim, your propaganda campaign has been reported to the F.B.I. They are monitoring your activity. You're funny, A Muslim preaching like a Christian preacher.

Your attempt to hide your Muslim identity is what gives you away though. Oh, the virgins waiting for you after your jihad were trained at "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." I heard George Bush had a hand in it himself. That's funny--used virgins. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Adios, Muslim fake player.

NO... Hell is for anyone who is not saved. Christians can dislike someone...there is a difference in a general "love your neighbor" and a "love the muslim extremist who is targeting your behind for annhialation". We are told not to hate.. But if we sin on that prospect, that sin will not send us to hell.

I think if Christians would focus on Luke 10:27 they wouldn't have to worry about who to hate and who to love. If we would follow this verse we would try and love everyone...

"And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strenght, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself."
"And he said unto him, thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live."
