Now whenever I start my computer It says "You may be a victim of software counterfieting. Get an original package." So what should I do to remove this thing?

How to get rid of the Microsoft Genuine check:
Lauch Windows Task Manager.
End wgatray.exe process in Task Manager.
Restart Windows XP in Safe Mode by hitting F8 during bootup.
Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32 by typing the following:
cd c:\windows\system32
You should be at the system32 folder.
Type del wgatray.exe and then hit enter. (This will delete it)
Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache by typing the following:
cd c:\windows\system32\dllcache
Type del wgatray.exe and then hit enter. (This will delete it)
Type exit and hit enter and restart your computer to get to normal Windows Mode.
Launch RegEdit by going to start menu, then go to Run and type regedit.
Browse to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify
Delete the folder ‘WgaLogon’ and all its contents
Reboot Windows XP.

I agree with dave_ankur you don't get any problems like that with open source OSes like Linux.

How can Microsoft say the software is counterfeit, the code and everything else is identical, even if the disk is copied, unlike a CD or DVD that deteriorates when copies. Microsoft's "monopoly" means they can screw you for as much money as they want, then police your systems usage, who knows what sort of spywear or rootkits they infect you with & what information they steal from you. With open source software the code is transparent, so if there was ever anything underhand it would be spotted, also no threatening popups like you have had from Microsoft.

Go out and buy a legal copy of Windows XP. The one that is on your PC is not legal. Either go back to the shop where it was installed and complain, or go buy what you need.

my advice - always use open source.
You can do what ever what you want.

Belive me you will enjoy, for some days you will feel like :( but then it will be :)
