What if someone in modern times such as David Koresh, who claimed to be the returning Messiah, really was and we killed him.How are we to actually know when Christ has returned.I think that if he really were coming back he would change his mind after looking at the mess we humans have made of this Earth.

Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.

I'm just a sinner, saved by Grace, when I stood condemned to death, he took my place. Christ will return, every knee will bend, every tongue confess, that Christ is King. I look at it this way, beleive what you will, wouldn't it be better to beleive, than not beleive, and end up in hell. If Christ was just a mere person, or a good teacher, why has his story continued to grow.

No, when Christ comes, everyone will know it, and there will be peace on Earth before the End. So, I doubt the Christ has come already.

Matthew 24:30-31

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall
SEE the Son of man coming in the CLOUDS of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a GREAT sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heaven to the other.

For those of us who know that he came the first time, we know that he will come again. And everyone, Christian or not, will know when he comes back...although some people will deny it. He is not going to change is mind, because he promised us he would come back.

He has not come yet. When Jesus arrives on this earth it will be on Judgement day. All the people fit for paradise will go and the evil people will be banished to hell.

Not only can you not be sure if its him when he returns (after all, it could be the devil pretending right?), you can't even be sure he came the first time.
