Judas committed suicide, yet before that Jesus guarenteed him a throne in heaven (along with the other 11 before Judas became a traitor.)

So if you beleive Jesus never lied, then Judas is in heaven on a throne judging over one of the 12 tribes of Isreal.

Sara, an apostle to replace Judas was picked early in the book of Acts. chapter 1, verse 24 - 26. Here, Matthias was chosen to "take part in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas BY TRANSGRESSION fell, that he might go to his own place."
So it will be Matthias sitting with those other 11 judging over the tribes of Israel, not Judas.

I don't know where "to his own place" is. Is it hell? or a special but very lowly place in heaven reserved for people who once loved God but screwed up in a major way?

"to his own place" reminds me of what Jesus said to Peter when he asked what was going to happen to the apostle John. "What is that to you?" In other words, "none of your business."

We can warn people that suicide is taking a big CHANCE on missing out on blessings, God's incomparable mercy and understanding of people with mental illness and despair notwithstanding. But it is not for us to judge what happens to suicides after death, especially since doing so adds to the already enormous pain suffered by those surviving their suicided loved one.

Judas was sent out to do his dasterdly deed before Jesus concluded the covenant for the kingdom with the other 11 disciples. Mathias later took Judas' place as one of the 12 pillars who will stand as the foundation for the kingdom government in heaven with Jesus. Judas knew the truth and blasphemed the holy spirit by sinning against it. He is condemned to everlasting destruction. He will not even be resurrected.

Wrong. Suicide is a sin, and does not bring you closer to God, although it is possible to be forgiven of it. Judas went to Gehenna, not for suicide, but for will full betrayal of the Son of God.

Jesus never sinned.

Jesus knew who would betray him, Judas. Matthew 26:25.

Luke 22:28-30 'However, you are the ones that have stuck with me in my trials, and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom, that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones to judge the twelve tribes of Israel.'

Without a doubt, Judas was not with Jesus when Jesus said; 'You...have stuck with me in my trials'.

Matthew 26:24b ..'woe to that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been finer for him if that man had not been born.'

1Peter 2:21,22... Christ....He comnmnitted no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth.

Darth Vader eliminated entire world sytems and varied planets .. but in the end found redemption .. acknowledging Luke's paternity and becoming like Casper the friendly Gedi Ghost smiling at the little Ewoks ...

But not Judas, cause he betrayed the innocent lamb of God .. thus God revoked all promises and accounts ...

Therefore he's eternally smoking turds down here with me ... Luckily we got some vents and Central Air installed now ...

Committing suicide only postpones a life's programme and doesn't bring closer to God.Human life is a special and precious gift of God to enable one to realise the eternal truth of all creation. Body is only an instrument through which the indwelling personality can attain salvation by righteous living as a human being and squandering the body by suicide can only terminate physical existence but the subtle seeds of desire remain as they are as an unfinished soul programme and sprout & germinate once again into human form thro' the services of parenting couples to begin the previous left over work all over again.

All modern forms of religion ( Christianity,Catholicism,Islam,Buddhism,Judaism) view it as a serious sin.

Judas likely gets a "pass" in that Jesus forgave him directly because of the repentance expressed by Judas's suicide.

Judas's case is especially tender. Primarily, as human beings we understand that the act of betrayal in a manner such as he performed would be an utmost wickedness. On the flip side, what he did was necessary to fulfill God's will. It's not really for us to decide his fate, or anyone else's. I certainly wouldn't want that kind of responsibility...would you?
