Despite your want - Love has its own ideas about how to manifest itself and you will not succeed in controlling it.
Dating is just a way to get to know someone.

If you are dating because you have nothing better to do - hoping that the dates will "teach" you to love a person - then I agree with you.
When you date someone it must be because you really are in love and would love to get to know this person and to want to be with this person.

you can't fall in love with every person you date... it's not possible because there is no way you can fall in love so fast. you have to be with someone for a while to fall in love and really feel true love.

i believe dating is overrated. there are other things you can do to get to know the person you are with without having to spend alot of money going out.

i believe that dating should not be used to "hang out" like kids have made it
but it should only be used when you really want to be with someone long term
