I bought it in a Canadian supermarket... maybe they only make it in Canada. Canada rocks 'cause we have so many brands of chocolate and chips (example - fries and gravy chips by Humpty Dumpty Chips)

Grape-Nuts cereal contain no grapes or nuts..
Grape-Nuts was introduced in 1898 by Charles W. Post, founder of the company that was later to become a division of General Foods.
A diet of Postum and Grape-Nuts, coupled with abstention from coffee and "poor foods," presumably meaning those made by Post's competitors, would cure "any known disease." The brand name Grape-Nuts was conceived in a similar spirit.
Nonetheless, there was a rationale, however thin, for the name. The product contained maltose, known at the time as "grape sugar," and it did have a nutty flavor. Moreover, bearing in mind that the name is properly spelled "Grape-Nuts" and not "Grape Nuts," one might argue that while there were generic commodities known as grapes and nuts, there was nothing called grape-nuts, in the sense that there were cashew nuts, and thus the name could have no tendency to deceive.

I'd eat GrapeNuts if there was nothing else around. But they feel really weird in the mouth, heavy and dense, and I always seem to get them shoved between my gums and my cheeks. GrapeNut pudding is really great, though! Puffed rice? Nahhhh..... I used to like Puffed Wheat, except you had to put so much sugar on them. I like raisin bran, but it does tend to get soggy really fast, which skeeves me out. Plus you have to be careful not to overeat it...... I don't like most cereals either. Although it's been changing lately, many of them are nothing more than fortified refined carbohydrates and sweetener. As far as your body's concerned, you might as well be eating the stuff in the sugar bowl and with a vitamin on the side. These days when I have cereal, it's usually oatmeal. I add raisins or craisins, about 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and almond milk. My palate is pretty unsophisticated, so I can't say I like a lot of things that are tasty in an unusual way. I like to add raisins to a lot of stuff, like savory rice dishes and curries. One of my favorite things is plain buttered macaroni or rice with milk. My mom used to put pineapple in cole slaw which I don't think is that unusual, but I wasn't that crazy about it. I do like oysters and anchovies, does that count?
