yes....it's linked to so many things that make us self concious about every little thing. Such as: "Am I pretty enough?" or "Am I skinny enough?" or "Am I smart enough?" or "Am I not good enough?" there's a whole slew of "Am I not's" that are in connection with that fear. Unfortunately, it doesn't just hold true to the young girls. That same fear is present in most older teens and women in their 20's. Only when that girl is in a long, serious relationship or is married will that fear go away. And sometimes, not even then do they quit worrying about it.

I do not think so. Young girls of today have lots and lots of opportunities coming their way. They can definitely succeed in their field of liking.They are more brave and free of fear than their earlier generation.
