He got 5 loaves of bread and gave it to billions of people...I accept that this was what might have happened etc,....but what if someone was greedy and took loads of the bread, they must have had maybe a crumb or to, which would have then filled them. If a greedy guy (and there are plent yof them everywhere) took a handful, would his stomach have exploded?

Food for thought?

Actually that very incident is described in the Gospel of Fred, a long lost text that many Christian scholars have tried to suppress along with the Replies of the Corinthians to Paul.
"And Jesus told the people, "Just two sandwiches each OK, well maybe three for the really fat guy down front." But thou knowest that there is always some fool who doesn't listen. And amongst the multitude we began to hear Pop and guts began to spill out.
And the Son of Man said "I told them. and does anybody ever listen to me? I could be up here speaking in tongues. I'm getting ahead of the story, I bet not three or four of you could remember any thing I said about mercy or peace either. I'm just going to go back to Nazareth and reopen the carpentry shop, see if I don't."

It says that everyone was filled and had no lack. So everyone had enough for their own, personal appetites! Amazing isn't it? To answer your question, no, becuase each person didn't only get a crumb or two. The fish and bread LITTERALLY multiplied. (See how much they had left over).
