When people say this aren't they really saying "Why doesn't everyone just believe what I do and think like I do?" If you believe and think like me the world will be a more peaceful place. Let's not fuss and fight over things that are not important (important to you that is) let's just find where we agree (you agree with me) and live together in peace (the peace I define)....

we all won't agree - we have independent thought that is based on our own life experiences. can we all get along? i guess it depends on what your beliefs are. it's a self-fulfilling prophecy that we expect to have conflict with others, and we get it. i don't think humans as a whole will ever learn to stop trying to get others to agree with them, abide by their beliefs, etc.

we can not just agree on one thing or get along with one thing because we have different ideas and concepts, beliefs, thoughts and everything. you can not just agree when one think the other one is worng and likewise. some have poor understanding on a matter some have more and some have the most. if you agree to only thing which is wrong or the worse, there will be no more progress in life and everythingin everything discussion is needed before agreeing together to make sure the matter is the best

We need more people like you in this world. That would be the best thing in the world right now. If we all were to seek the positive things in life and find the good in what all religious books have to offer, we all would be better off for it.
I say if you are a Christian, be a better Christian.
If you are a Muslim, be a better Muslim.
If you are in any other religion, be better in it.

Why would I do and think like you? Yes it's agreed we need to agree and get along...but in order to do that I have to give up my belief system and conform to yours, not happening. It's exactly that which makes us fail to get along. I believe in what I belive in by my choosing and learning processes you do the same. I respect you your beleifs and you should respect mine. Trying to say I should believe and think as you do is exactly what the issue is here and everywhere else. PEACE!

every one has a unique identity..everyone has the right to think unique.right?that is the game of life...or else everyone is just dumb!!!!!life will be really boring and intellectually less challenging.don`t u think so?
so it is better to enjoy this game and live in peace rather than lock our thinking systems.
what is most important is to stop ' forcing someone into our own way of thinking' and to avoid being aggressive.

Why should I get along with murderers and thieves and perpetrators?
You mean I should totally become blind to criminal activities and forget that my family and I were raped over and over again?
You mean I should become totally blind that all our temples were broken and mosques built on top of that and all gold stolen from our country?
This is just a little bit of what some people have done.
Why should I get along with them? They are disgusting people.
