I think that sometimes when people face life crisi and their faith is not strong enough they tend to lose fasith. Or maybe they have the wrong idea about ask and it shall be recieved,/This of course is not material things and I think that some might believe that does mean that. Somtimes it just young converts to christianity and someone or something persuades them they have made a bad choice, I am sure there are a million reasons . But I thank God that I have a million more to not lose faith. My faith is my rock my foundation. I need it ti raise my children more effectively and sanely.

People would much rather believe a lie than the truth. It is more believable to most. They believe in their own existence. After that they have no belief system until self has expired, and their back is against the wall so to speak. They perceive themselves as god attempting to prove their own existence.

Throughout history, there has always been the debate of the existence of God. Those of us who do believe will be challenged as we continue to live in this world. The Word of God teaches us that basically, as man increases in his 'own' knowledge, he will fall away from his God, believing that he, himself, is the reason for his own greatness. The love of God will wax cold - and additionally, people will turn away, fall away, lose faith in God because Satan will be directing this chorus in his own way. The more evil we see in the world: murders, death of young people carelessly, children, molestations, men and women going to jail - increase in young people going to jail and serving time as adults, good being looked at as evil, and evil being looked at, as good -famine, wars, pestilences, destruction, floods, earthquakes, etc. - all of these things people will blame GOD for. And because they have not been taught what the Word has said about these very subjects - because their faith has fallen away, they will continue to blame God. I truly believe that we have to continue to show love as God has loved us sending Jesus as the propituation of our sins (he was sacrificed) and the natural laws and spiritual laws must be fulfilled. All of these ugly things must happen unfortunately, but the Christian who believes does not 'see' these sames things with their eyes. I know it is sad when a child looses his life, but I don't blame God for it. God is about love. Satan is the one who introduced hate, sin, destruction, doubt, fear into the world. This was not God's doing - however because God is so loving - HE gave us the opportunity to MAKE UP OUR OWN MINDS -to choose and sometimes we don't make the right decisions. A lot of what has and is happening is man's own fault. We read history and we don't study it. We don't pay attention to the details and then we are doomed to continue repeating it. How many decades and centuries stands between CAIN and his brother ABLE? Are we still not fighting each other? Killing each other over jealousies and being envious of each other? The theory and premise is the same. Nothing is new under the sun however, we must have faith to believe that EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE - and will change in God's own time. It is up to us to stay faithful and try to love each other and convict others to do good to each other.

people have been turing more and more away from the joy God creates when you worship him and more and more to the false ego building high they get from judging others the way others worship and how others live and getr off on the thought that other people will be sent to hell. THis is the anitchrist this is when people look at the splinter in there neighbors eyes example Gay marriage and not at the Log in there own. PLAYING GOD AND JUDGING OTHERS for example Christ preached over and over not to cast the first stone but preacher after preacher false preachers get ratings and fill there pockets from doing just that.

Because there is SO much contradiction! God is supposed to be loving and merciful, yet innocent people die, babies are born with deformities and have to face horrible suffering. Then there is the science side of it that proves the world is older than the Bible claims, as well as the Human race.

I'm battling with this myself. My youngest son died of SIDS and my 1st husband sexually molested our daughter one month before her 4th birthday. Personal things have happened to me in the many years that I've been alive, but I'm also afraid not to believe. people say to me that I shouldn't believe out of fear... but how can I not. If I don't believe in God & I die , if he isn't there I won't be losing anything, BUT if he is there then look at what I will gain.
