Yep!! REad the bible and then just look around you and watch the news. All the signs point to it just as the signs in winter will point to Spring being just around the corner. All the signs are there.

No, because I'm not stupid enough to believe trash written in the bibel. I read daniel, ezekial and revelations back in 1960. The christian fundamentalists thought the "end-times" was then. I had a friend who was "born-again" in 1975. jesis was expected then. If you look at history, he was expected back in the year 1000, also 2000. Grow up. Don't believe in a religion you were brainwashed into at the age of 3. The Jews, Moslems, Hindus, Mormons and thousands of other religious groups were all brainwashed as children. Now, as adults, most continue to believe their early brainwashing. The kill and die as adults for these childhood "beliefs."

Ruthless conmen have been scaring gullible people with such tales for centuries. One can find many such episodes. "THE MASK OF NOSTRAMAMUS" by James Randi lists many such tales of "end times". None were right, and the present ones shall continue that fine tradition of being mistaken. Matthew 16:28 is an early one. Several disciples of jesus believed the end was near nearly 2000 years ago. The Bible says no one knows, so beware of becoming a false prophet!

commit things like murder rape any other crime they harbor just on the premise the world will end therefore who will care?
you think I'm kidding look back at any case where the masses believed a set time for the end of the world.
we didn't get peace and love we got panic and general nastiness

Throughout history there has always been some group that has believed that the end is nigh.
The "wars and rumors of war" thing falls flat too. There have always been wars and rumors of war since the dawn of recorded history.

No, not with respect to the Christian theory of it. If and when there is an "end time" we can claim that all ourselves, global warming, killing in the name of religion, etc....

I've been having these very realistic - end-time's dreams!
Don't know why but I've got this feeling it is coming!
No one knows for sure but I'd rather be prepared!
