Was mates with this girl about a year ago, i asked her out, but she said no.

I'm still really good friends with her, and I talk to her quite a lot. I now
have a girlfriend, and am going out to eat and have a chat with the other girl. Is this wrong, even though I feel nothing for her, is it the done thing?

I just wouldn't want people to get the wrong idea?

There's nothing wrong with having a female friend, as long as she's just that: a FRIEND. If you still have feelings for her it may not be the best idea, as there may be temptation there. But as long as you can just be friends then everything should be fine And if your girlfriend is worried about it, explain that you're just friends and you've known her awhile and you're just hanging out like always. If she does something like tells you you can't see her anymore, I'd be a bit worried. Anyone, male or female, who freaks just over their bf/gf having friends of the opposite sex is WAY too controlling.

But yeah, it's fine :)

You were friends with girl before you have a girlfriend, so no need to dump a good friend, just because you now have a girlfriend. It would not be wrong to go to dinner with this friend, only if your girlfriend is not jealous and understands that you are just friends. But a suggestion would be to introduce your girlfriend to your friend and all of you go out to dinner together. That way your girlfreind won't feel threatened by this girl, if she is the jealous type. it would just be a group of friends going out together.

Listen.. once you behave yourself and act solely as a freind, whats the problem. The past is the past.
HOWEVER, there would be aproblem if you feel SHE has a thing for you now, in which case she migh push the issue. If that's the case its best to stay away. Once you're sure that it will be purely platonic, go ahead

I don't see any problem with 2 friends sharing a meal and having a chat together don't worry what anyone else thinks as long as your girlfriend is cool about it then all should be great have fun and enjoy your meal.

No its not wrong. As long as you stay loyal to your girlfriend, nothing is wrong. You can still talk and go out with other girls. There is no harm in that.

As long as you stay on friendly terms it is OK...you don't have to feel guilty for being friends with her, no matter if you asked her out in the past

No, there's nothing wth ging out with her specialy if you have any bad intentions, or you done wth your feelings with her. Friendly dates is considerable, you still need to meet frinds and go out with them sometimes. I have abf but sometimes I go otu with my other bot friends alone or with my bf, no problem because it's a clean fun no bad intentions.

Let other think bad, you cant please anybody though as long as you are honest with your bf and to yourself.
