how some people blame God and Christians for all the turmoil in the Middle East? It's a bit absurd don't you think?

It is prophesied for this type of thing to happen. If you read in Ezekiel I am thinking chapter 39 , yes it is 39 read it and see for yourself.

Sure! If only we'd just give in to those silly old Moslems and start bowing to mecca five times a day, soon everything would be all right! Then they'd discover the problems inherent in running the show when they didn't have anybody else to blame things on!
