If u told ur ex u want him back and then he tells u it isn't possible and you bid him gudbye and didn't communicate for a week, however u were surprised to find the next day that u received an e-mail from him telling you he misses you and you didn't replied and the next comes another e-mail from him telling you hat he was hoping you could be gud friends... Does he wanna get back as friends or as lovers? You never even had a formal break-up and stayed as friends after "it."

Could be either one. He could be trying to stay in contact and making sure you are okay, or it oculd be his way of trying to say sorry for the breakup and he wants you back. Why not ask him what he wants?

I have seen this time and time again. I'm sorry, but this might hurt a little. He most likely no longer wants to be BF & GF with you, but he also know that right now you want him back, so he will use that in his favor not yours. He will be leading you on from time to time just to get alittle when HE is feeling lonely until someone he likes more comes along. You will feel like things are going to work out and you two might get back together, but that is not what is on his mind. He wants to be free to date whomever he wants, he just does not have the balls to come right out and tell you and let you be free too. That means he does not want to hurt your feelings, but don't look at that as hope.
I'm a guy, I know how cruel some guys can be.............
I hope this helps you find your way.
P.S. If he wants to be friends make it real clear that that is all its going to be, NO extras, if you catch my drift.

If a man cannot decide even after the second time around, he's not worth keeping even as a friend. Cut yourself a deal, you're better without someone who can't decide and wants you when you won't reply. Says a lot about a person's character....

Why don't you try being friends after a break up. It can work. It sometimes causes problems but none that can't be overcome. It works with people who are adult in their thinking.
