For a 115 HP 2.0 Liter 8-valve, I'd probably use a good 10W-30 or 10W-40 synthetic blend (Something from Valvoline, Castrol, Mobil or Quaker State usually works well - this is what I use in my 1.8L 16-valve Jetta GLi) - gives very good protection for a reasonable price (and can mix with conventional oil too).

The weight can change too depending on where you live and how hot (or cold) it is most of the time. For me though, I've found that a multigrade such as a 10W-30 or 10W-40 usually works nicely.

If it's a Turbo 2.0 though, then Full Synthetic all the way, same weight!

Hope this helped!

Your owners manual should list a "weight" of oil that is best. Usually it's around a 10W-30 for all year round unless you live in a hot or cold area year round.

There aren't that many cracking towers in the world compared to oil oil rigs so most oil from most companies are all the same quality coming from the same refineries... even WalMart brand. Shop using the correct weight and shop for price.
