Egg fried rice,
Boil up rice just before it reaches the sticky stage. Heat oil in frying pan or wok, fry up rice, add a oxo stock cube and then anything else
like, ham, peas, carrots, or any other meats or veg. In Thailand they call this kow phat and it really is lovely (but they add coriander)

Are you a vegetarian? If so delete the bacon from this unbelievably cheap and delicious meal.
Finely chop an onion, a garlic clove and dice some bacon. Fry the bacon and the onions in a good glug of olive oil and when they have browned off, add the garlic. Chuck in a tin of chopped tomatoes and simmer it all for about 30 minutes. If it gets too thick add a litle water.
Boil up some pasta, it doesn't matter what sort but spaghetti can get messy with this sauce. Serve with grated parmesan cheese and a nice crisp salad with an olive oil and balsamic dressing. Dead easy, really cheap and very nice

An omelette on toast. Just add whatever you have got to it, but a nice one is spring onion and mushroom. You only need a couple of mushrooms and maybe added some ham/sausage/cooked meat. slice the spring onion, separating the white bits from the green bits. Cook the white bits with the rest of the ingredients and make an omelette as normal, saving the green bits as garnish. quick, cheap and not too bad health wise!

Grilled vegetables. Grab your favorites, carrots, potatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumber, bell peppers (red, yellow green), broccoli... Anything you like. Put them in an aluminum foil pouch with a little butter (1 tablespoon or so) or olive oil and some seasoning salt. You can add sliced ring sausage for a complete meal. Put it on the grill for about 10 minutes then turn over and cook for another 10. My kids love it. You can use fresh or frozen vegetables.

Raman Noodle Surprise! yummy and cheap. Adjust quantities for the number of people but a good rule of thumb is 2 eggs and 1 pack of noodles per guest. Scramble eggs lightly until almost done and remove from fry pan/ Turn heat to high and add water to the same fry pan/mix in seasoning packets from the Raman, chicken is the best or add some bouillon cubes as well for flavor/ once the water is about to boil add the noodles, crush them first/continue to turn the Raman so it does'nt burn til the water is just about gone/ add your scrambled eggs back in and mix/ Then add a genourous amount of your favorite cheese to the mix and continue to turn til golden brown. Enjoy!
