The relationship wasn't that long...but I told him in an email. I just didn't feel a connection...was I wrong? I am not the type to hurt people's feelings, but I am very honest.

Telling someone how you feel about a situation is always best when it is in person. No you're wrong for doing it over an email-because that's what you wanted to do. Just ask yourself this: how would you feel if someone broke up with you in an e-mail?

I don't think you was wrong to break-up by email. It also depends on how long you was together. If you was a short time its best if it was a long time months or years then I would do it in person.

ok, i dont think so if it is better for you to do it or more unemotional in the email then i would say you could do it that way but if your looking for friendship after the relationship i would say the best thing to do is to do it face to face.

break up in an email, it isn't so bad that break up in a message carried by post pigeon, if you were a little bit angry,it's OK but if you want to be honest, call or meet him

Even if the relation was not long he deserves to get the answer face to face. That, of course, if he wasn't rude or violent so as to put u in danger if u meet him. monica

If the relationship started out over email, then it's fine... But if you guys hooked up in person, then you should've ended it in person...

You did what you thought was best but I think you should
see him in person if he agrees (never burn your bridges)

Good Luck
