You always hear rumors that people go at it all night on their wedding night.
I have recently talked to my friends who have just gotten married and they all said they were too tired to do anything and waited till the morning. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that!!!
I think it would be nice to catch up on all that happened at the wedding. Everything would probably go so fast, and there may have been things that the bride saw that the groom didn't and vice versa.
I would just talk about the night...relax....get a good nights sleep, then have fun in the morning...;-)

Yes, you are very tired on your wedding night. Both my husband and I were virgins when we got married. We got home at 6:30 and were in bed by 8:30. We were really tired. But we had a nice conversation and some strawberries with sparkling cider. It was a very nice night.
You should talk with your fiance and see what she is thinking. Tell her you want to have sex but you are worried about being too tired.

YES you both WILL be too tired. If she was like me she spent half the year organising the wedding and the past 1 mth partying, and past 1 week getting nervous, and past 1 day having a blast - SO sex is out of the question. U should just chill out, lie down in bed/cabana/jacuzzi etc of your getaway hotel. Have some munchies, some hot chocholate (no coffee pls), some oil massage etc. If you both fall asleep, great. Sex will be so much better the morning after!

Dont be shy. First of all you smile so that she also smile. After that you ask her how you fill now? so the relevent answer she will tell you. But some couple don't have sex on the wedding night. If you both want sex on the first wedding night then you can do.

The day of your wedding is a very long day for both of you, especially for your lovely bride. Not to mention the 50 lb. dress she has to wear that gets heavier as the day progresses! I know for me by the time we got back to the bed & breakfast my dress had embedded my bra straps into my shoulders from the weight! *owchies* Take your cues from her...many times the couple is much too tired to consumate the marriage that night...it's perfectly acceptable to wait until the next morning/evening to make love. What you can do for her is to give her a nice neck/shoulder/back massage and if it doesn't freak either of you out, a foot massage will endear you to her for life!!

There's no way to know in advance if you will be too tired. Most people are worn out after such a long day but there's also a ton of excitement and adrenaline that will could end up keeping you up!

Just let the moment happen. Some couples don't have sex on their wedding night for the simple fact that they are exhausted. It is an exhauting day physcially and emotionally. And there is no rule that says that you have to do it that night. Maybe some great morning sex would work to.

I have heard from many of my friends that they were too tired. They just ended relaxing and getting some much needed sleep. It's really not a big deal at all what you end up doing, you have your whole life ahead of you, plenty of time.

I'm a bit surprised that you've been slated. Maybe you could have a break in the proceedings between the meal ending and the evening party starting to ahem, 'be married'?!
