It can work but you have to keep it maintained as your hair grows out. Also, make sure you go to a high quality place and that you use good products on your hair afterwards so that your hair doesn't dry out and split. Your hair will be silky and shiny, it would probably cost at least $70 and I would check into any of the "good" salons in your area. (ie not a Fantastic Sams or Cost Cutters etc)

Go to a salon where the beautician/stylist is expert at putting in hair relaxers. You can get a mild, no-lye relaxer put in your hair that can straighten it the way you'd like, but you need a professional to do the job for you.
This is a chemical service, so it would cost similar to having color services. The texture of your hair would certainly change, but the amount of silkiness depends on what conditioners and shining agents are added as well.

the japanese hair straightening works good .. but its chemicals so your hair wont come out silky and shiny, just straight. and if you have really curly hair, when it starts growing out, your roots are going to be curly and the rest straight so you have to be careful and make sure you do it often. It gets pretty pricey, i worked at a salon and it cost almost $1000 to do it the first time, and about 300-500$ for roots.. i think you should just take care of your natural hair. do conditioning treatments and try to make it the healthiest possible... nothing looks better than healthy hair

Even the most expensive straightening procedure (rebonding) only lasts for a few months, there is no permanent way to straighten your hair. All you can do is have a regular hair care in a parlor, say a monthly hair relaxing with hot oil. No need for extra protein treatments unless your hair is permed or damaged by other chamicals.

Depends what kinda hair you have. is it afro? caucasian? what? The price depends where you go, best thing to do is to go into a hair salon and they can look at your hair and give you directed advice.
At any rate it will only premanently straighten the hair that it goes onto so you'll need to retouch the roots when they come up. Don't wash it as soon as you straighten it. How long to wait will depend on your hair type, but I know for Afro hair (that's what I have) you'll have to wait at least a week.
Good luck with it all

the excellent element on the subject of the Brazilian Keratin treatment is that it lasts for the longest time! attempt to do greater learn on the internet. Plus, how long in the previous might it quite is in the previous college starts off? i'm uncertain on the subject of the specifics yet are you allowed to circulate swimming many times after the 1st 4 days? truthfully for the time of faculty you may particularly have every time for swimming, counting on which grade you're going into. If I had to grant you my opinion, i might circulate with the brazilian keratin treatment. It makes your hair look magnificent and it will final a whilst :) i've got particularly heard all people getting a eastern hair straightening. although I particularly comprehend any salons around my section that does that form of stuff.

go to your local beauty college and ask that the instructor look at your hair before anyone touches it.( if ya got the money, like 150.00 go professional) the instructor will most likely stay close, so don't freak. it is a very cheap way to have your hair done almost professionally, and your giving the students credit towards becoming professional. call around to different colleges, most have 1/2 price days and other freebies. i try to go every 2 weeks to get it styled or trimmed, they even did my bro-in-law wedding.$20 a head.

well it depends on the type of the hair if it is dry
its gonna be dry if you use a strong straightner that your cant hold
here in Japan i spent 20000yen!
and it just become so dry...after a day (can you imagine that)
maybe i will re-do it in the Philippines!
and wait!.. it will not become permanently im telling you!.. it only lasts as long as 6months!
