you have no problem at all, we all have to practise these things, at first practise keeping your shoulders straight and walking while listening to music from a walkman, then it will come naturally. If not find a role model to emulate.

Try not to think about it. I know its hard. My boyfriend keeps telling me i 'waddle' and as soon as I think about him saying that, I feel as if I'm not walking right, like somehow my left and right leg doesn't walk in a balanced style coz I feel that one leg is longer than the other?
Ek.. yea~ sounds weird but I know how you feel.

I guess its only how you PERCEIVE your walking to be. Walking and its movement comes naturally. No one taught us how to speak or stand up or walk, because this is just a natural process. And plus probably you walk fine, and if something was REALLY wrong, then other people would have mentioned it to you, like close friends/family, and they would've told you to get it checked out by now.

I really do think its more to do with the fact that you are THINKING about your walking, and hence you feel uncomfortable. When you're walking on the streets, try listening to some music or the radio, or just whatever you like listening to, and that should distract you enough to stop you from thinking about your walking. Or even walking with a friend who can keep you updated with gossip, as talking can take your mind off walking. Or if its too hard to walk on the street, just go grocery shopping or window shopping or what not, and let the items take away your concentration. And sooner or later, hopefully you'll realise that you're walking fine and that you have walked for quite some time~

Please don't be so self consciouses. Everyone is different in there own special way. Just hold your head high with your chin up and walk. You are just as good as anyone else. Walking is such good exercise. It's good for your physical and mental health. So, don't worry so much about what others think of you. What you think and feel is what is important. Positive Attitude!

you might have bad posture, the way you sit or stand can effect your joints, like sitting with a hump in your back will cause you have spinal problems. or standing with a slouched back. everybody has a unique way of walking. there is no normal way to walk. do you have trouble walking? like frequent stumbling/tripping, or does walking causes pain? does it feel weird (not look weird) when you walk. if you answered no, you are most likely fine, you just have to work on posture. if you asnswered yes. its best to see a bone or joint specialist.
