Sweety, it all depends on you. If you want to learn really fast, you gotta be in the country or enviornment. First you just listen, pay attention to body movement, then you will be in predicaments where you need to speak the language. Alot of people dont exactly learn another language so fast because of thier FEAR!

I guess its a fear of being laughed at. But once you get over the fear, learning a new language is a very liberating feeling.

I live in Puerto Rico, i am really from new york, and everything i told you is exactly what i experienced. Things are so twisted out here that you need to speak and understand a decent level of spanish to defend yourself. The problem that i had (and still have a little bit) are the verbs and how you use them in a sentence.

But its all about guts and the fact of , are you really eager to learn?

hey if they can learn other languages easily and fast, none of them will have no trouble learning them...just be patient and continue to learning them with hope!
you also have to make some situations you can practice the language. If you keep learning it only on the desk, you won't be good at talking and listening but you'll be great at writing.

you need to put yourself in a situation where you are constantly around the language you are trying to learn. Repeatition is the key. Anything you constantly hear over and over is gonna stick with you. Thats how I learned spanish, from hearing it everyday at work. Sometimes I will ask one of my employees how to say this or that. You can also get books and sometimes in your free time find a tv chanel in the language you want with english subtitles. record and replay.

Complete submersion. You will be forced to learn the language if you want to survive. Very fast, but not so easy

Very, very hard. The best way for the basics are courses, but if you want to learn a language to speak it fluently, the best way is to earn the basics and then go to live there!

Complete immersion is always the fastest way to learn a language. If you can't do that, you're just going to have to learn it the hard way: by learning it.

Go live in a country where they speak it for 6 months, you'll have to speak and it will teach you. If you can't go away, find a gf or bf who speaks that language.

There is no such thing! It takes years to learna a language properly. If you just want the basics, take a crash course, but I don't think that'll do much good!
