The Bible is full of these contradictions. That's why it is so impossible to follow in life.

This is a ridiculous question. I was just reading an article in the newspaper about a Marine in Ramadi who said he has 20 confirmed kills and probably a dozen more unconfirmed. He says that he can justify in the fact that God supported David when he killed Goliath. He adds, "Insurgents have killed good marines I've served with . That's how I sleep at night. Though I've killed over 20 people, how many lives would those 20 people have taken?"

No one condones murder, and that is the true context of the Hebrew meaning of kill.
Killing for justice is not only commanded by God in the Old Testament, it is the right thing to do. There are those in this world who are as rabid dogs, and I would not hesitate to shoot a rabid dog, hopefully before he causes more deaths and certainly to put him out of his own misery.
Would I enjoy it? Goodness, no. I'd feel sorry for the dog having to suffer, and sorry for the people who got bit, and a bit sorry for myself for having to be the one to handle it.
No, being a person who has to make these decisions is not fun. It is not to be taken lightly, but sometimes murderers force us to consider it as part of the judgement of earthly law.

I believe the Bible was speaking of Murder. However I do believe that Christians do not want or desire any one to die in any way. If possible we would have peace and love in all the world.
I think you are asking a deceitful question, what you are really saying is that Christians believe in the death penalty but not in abortion. If this is the case you are looking at things in a foolish way.
I believe if we all got what we deserved we would all die for our sins, but Jesus took care of that with his sacrifice. The Bible speaks of entire peoples being destroyed by Gods people for their sins, that is what we deserve without Christ.
To kill someone via the death penalty is mans law and were are bound by it. I do not agree with it myself but it is mans law and I do not think it goes against the Word of God.
To kill someone via abortion is also mans law and we are bound by it. I do not agree with it and I have no doubt that it goes against Gods Word. This is one example of the Murder spoken of in the scripture you quoted and I fear we will all have to answer for it before God.
If I have mistaken your question I am sorry, if not please consider this answer.
God Bless

God hates murder and war, and soon it will be brought to an end.
Mic 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off: and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into spades: nation shall not take sword against nation: neither shall they learn war anymore.
Mic 4:4 And every man shall sit under his vine, and under his fig tree, and there shall be none to make them afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken.
Mic 4:5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god: but we will walk in the name of the Lord, our God, for ever and ever.

Those guidelines are in the old testament. Christians are saved by the Grace of Jesus, not by living up to the impossible standards of the old testament.

THOU SHALT NOT KILL!
God says that we should not kill (other people) and I will not kill you for asking such a silly question!
You can not create life - thus you shalt not take it away! God is the only creator - he made me and you and everybody else but he gives us our own minds and intellect (as well as free will) to make our own decisions!

You'll hear morons say that when Jesus arrived, the old testament no longer matters.
They're liars.
The NT clearly says that the old testament is as important at the new.
But they'll spin, spin, spin...
