For a few days now I have been posting my idea of " lets respect each other". I have had a week-end filled with camrodarie with people of all kinds of beliefs and have enjoyed all of it. I hope today we all can do something nice for each other. Or at least give someone a compliment. Hope everyone has the kind of day that they enjoy-Peace

Absolutely!

Why can't we just stop killing each other in God's name (or whatever you believe His name to be... Allah, Budha...) If you just do good and leave people to their own opinions... Taking no offense - respecting each other's God's and beliefs - because they have made their choice!

God bless and bring his abundant blessings upon us all!

This is definitely a better start to the day than yesterday. Maybe the ranting lunatics are still in bed, Hallelujah!

I would love to be part of a group that has some simple give and take. Equal footing, interesting opinions. I enjoy the colors of the rainbow in here and have learned a lot. There was an interesting dialog last week about Islam's view of Christianity and why. It was polite and informative.

Christians should live their lives the way Christ did, to glorify God. Christ respected all people. What He didn't respect were some of the practices these people followed. If someone you know is doing something which you know is wrong, you should try to correct them in a loving, caring manner.
Respect people, yes. Respect their sinful activities, never.

I am Wiccan and I am with you in respecting humans today and everyday. But while we are at it how about respecting the planet as well. It is the only one we have and it has been just as overlooked and abused as humans have been to one another, if not more.

There is no respect of persons with God. None! We all are one. Question remains: one what? So far it seems "one proselyte", and perhaps because of what you say.

A Christ-ian who has respect of persons, or respect of beliefs, is about as far from true peace as scape-goats vs dumb-sheep are in law law "heavens" on "high"; Obviously high on something other than "grace is sufficient", which is "higher than the heavens".

Christ is our peace who hath abolished the law(enmity).
In him there is no law = "NO SIN" = no death = no hell.

Peace with God is notably "through Jesus->Christ",
so we're talking only the "Christ" of "Jesus->Christ",
which is to allegory say the "higher" of high->higher;
For "Jesus" is only risen right of the God on "high".

Christ appeared to God in "heaven": "higher than the heavens". The other God, on high, in heavens, is the foolish God of twain. The other God, on high, in heavens, is the false God of twain. It's notably a fearful thing to "fall" into the plural "hands" of this God; And obviously a "fall" from grace, which is above such law law. At the throne of grace only mercy is obtain-able, thereby peace.

Not to mention "know" the truth makes you "free", of beliefs. For even devils "believe" there is one God: Law, and they fear such.

Not to mention receiving the promise (eternal life) comes "after" doing the will of God: "I will have mercy(grace), and not sacrifice(law)". Hence we find Christ(the end of the law) doing God's will, and being mentioned as "Saviour of the world" that God so loved, that God being all light and no darkness at all, as the God of all grace is all grace and no law at all. To wit: that God (the only true God of false/true Gods) was in Christ(the end of the law, the Saviour of the world) reconciling the world unto himself(the God of all grace), and by not (law) imputing their sins unto them.

The "grace"(God) of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
