I don't have a sense of how much water I need to drink in a day. How much is 8 glasses of 8oz?! in terms of litres

You don't need to drink 8 glasses (2 liters) of water a day. You certainly don't need 1/2 your body weight (in oz.) per day. You don't need ANY arbitrary target amount per day. Drink when you're thirsty. Period!

The ounces in a glass of water are fluid ounces, that is, a volumetric measurement. In liters, that would be a little less than half a liter, I think.

About 2 liters a day...it's kinda crazy you have to drink that much water a day...but it works to take off the pounds faster that is of course if you also watch what you eat and exercise
