How about Man 4
I can think of a hero who threw away a $3.6 million contract in the NFL to give his life in Afganistan...Pat Tillman. He knew his priorities...The love of his country.

Priceless

Man #3 most likely makes WAY less than $50 thousand. Unfortunately, our society has made "heroes" out of sports figures and our government does NOT make sure the needs of our military (active, reserve & retired) are fully met. Most families of enlisted military are eligible for food stamps and section 8 housing assistance (if they don't live on base) which is really sad!

Hero #3, But I never watch sports. I do not support those overpaid premadonnas that make millions for playing a kid's game, if nobody else did either what a wonderful world, this would be! Then maybe we would see people play the game, because it's fun, not for the money.

Much less I might add, but soldiers aren't entertainers despite all the money 24hr news media makes off turning current events into entertainment. People aren't in the military for the pay. Besides, there ain't no players union.
