That is wrong to do. I was friends with my neighbor for over 5 years and during that relationship she made fun of me and said that everything I did was wrong. She said that she was better then me and something I believed.

Her and I got into this fight a few months back and during that break away from her I was the happiest. I felt so much better about myself my grades went up in school and things with my boyfriend couldn't be any better.

Now she wants to be my friend and emails me everyday. I talk to her 2 times since the fight but I am not going to look back. She is failing in school and her life is in shambles.

Things may be so much better for you if this "friend" and you take a break from speaking. Test it out and see how you feel.

hi, i comprehend the form you experience it got here approximately to me some years in the past - in reality it became into 38 years in the past. despite the reason you would be able to desire to stand it that she does not decide to be with you anymore. this is totally perplexing to do this and that i wont misinform you. Youre doing the nicely suited issues going out and so on, time will shrink the discomfort you experience, thats a promise. One trick is to no longer think of approximately it, sounds stupid yet its once you think of it will enhance the emotions, in case you sidestep questioning or issues which set off the thoughts it keeps you feeling low. My different remark is which you look as though a effective guy, possibly too extreme for her, possibly she's no longer nicely suited for you besides. attempt to comprehend what you're finding for and determine females you pick to physique of ideas are the nicely suited ones for you. back no longer situation-free to get nicely suited right now away yet you will learn from attempting. And thats my final ingredient, do shop attempting, its exciting and you'd be stunned in case you tak the possibility. desire this facilitates, sturdy success and take care!

Just ignore them and hang out with other friends that dont hang out with your "trusted friend". A few weeks later, they will act differently then see what happens next.

I agree with tamara.

Note: sometimes people just act this way when it wasnt your fault. maybe they want out but dont know how to say it, so they make you leave.

if i were in your case then i would've ask what happened. why is he/she reacting that way. if you get the answer, and it seems that the problem can be handled together, then do it. do not let a simple change of heart ruin a 8yr or so bonded friendship.

Same thing happened to me. Back off from them and then see how they treat you. You may even get an apology.

what do you do to start this?

Getting even... which seems to be the behavior that you're describing... implies that there was something YOU DID... to start this. (or perhaps this is part of an escalation)...

Either way... either FIX IT... or CALL THEM ON IT.

Certainly... talking to us here, on "yahoo answers"... isn't going to be productive.
