I've tried turps, white spirit, nail varnish remover and soapy wire wool and nothing will shift it.

Dilute caustic soda and dab it on the paint wait for 10 mins then rinse with plenty of water. Take great care not to splash solution on anything especialy you. Wear rubber glover too and read the precautions on the caustic soda container

If the whole pane was painted, you will have a difficult job. I once was faced with a task like this and I ended up just replacing the pane.

Ronstrip or similar?

Caustic Soda (but make sure you use gloves and mask)

Don't know you would have to look at the pack.

you can get special tool at b&Q or similar - its especially to scrape paint off glass - really its just a blade on a handle.

Use a razor blade to scrape it off. Make sure it's dry first and it should work fine.

Try letting it soak in "lestoil", That worked for me on some painted glass.

if its latex try hot soapy water, if its oil mineral spirits , if nothing else try bleach.

Try scraping it with a knife or something similar.
