There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

Love is different for different people because different people are comfortable with different things. But for me true love is this...
True love is knowing that I will always love and be loved what ever mistake I make. It is knowing that I can be confortable doing anything around him without worrying, it is knowing that his body is mine and mine his forever.
It is that I want to get him presents and do things for him that I don't even like just to show him that I care. Love is him in my mind every minute of the day.
Love is a very sketchy thing so don't worry.

There is no such thing as true love to define love you got to work at it. Thus making it true love. The couple should complement one another. The ones negatives should be the other's positives and so one. There must be communication, trust and loyalty on both sides and committment and "viola" TRUE LOVE.
