Well, if entertaining your girlfriend really means that much to you, then do it. I personally would never let anyone touch my hair unless they had a TON of experience and I had total faith they wouldn't mess me over.
If she gets mad at you for not letting her mess with your hair color, she is extremely immature and you need to find another girlfriend.

Here's a question...Do you tell her what to do with her hair? (length, color etc) If you do, then she has the right to tell you what to do with yours. If not, tell her that. I work in the industry and I get so sick of hearing constantly " i really want to do ___________ but my husband/wife would divorce me". Have balls and stand up to it. Is she always that demanding?
