I asked my friend out, she basicly said no, but since i asked her out shes given me the cold shoulder, why?

From a guy's perspective its hard to say. I think we ( as men) sometimes misinterpret the signals. I know when I was in high school I was oblivious to the women that liked me but clueless when it came to the women I was interested in. I think we make the mistake of confusing kindness and concern when its no more than a gesture. There is nothing worse than thinking a girl is into you and she isn't.. lol.. But that is part of it. I mean at least you asked her and you know where you stand.

You might want to explain that you value her friendship and as a friend, an explanation is only fair. If she doesn't want to hurt your feelings that would be better than pretending you don't exist.

Coz it's weird now, she knows that you wanna date her, but she doesn't want the same from you. She could be afraid that you'll push the matter, and get complicated. Or she just doesn't know how to act around you anymore seeing as she knows you don't see her just as a friend.
