IM WITH THIS GUY THAT ACTS HELLA STUPID SOMTIMES BUT THATS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT HIM. HE WANTS TO GO FARTHER WITH OUR RELATIONSHIP BUT IM FRRIGHTEN IT MIGHT BE UNCOFORTABLE KNOWING HOW GOOFY HE GETS. HE DOSE ACT MATURE WHEN IT COMES TO TALKING ABOUT SEX AND THE CONSEQUENCES I JUST DONT WANT TO GO FURTHER IF HE CANT HANDLE THE MATURATION OF A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you dont feel you are ready, or you dont feel you can, then dont do it. Follow your instinct, its the best you can get :)
As for the guy, isnt it up to him how he handles it? Maybe you should subtly hint as to if he is ready, but he seems keen, so maybe he is just preparing himself. It's up to him how he acts, ut if you really feel he cant handle it, then tell him.

You say he's a goof which you like and he can get serious when he needs to so what's the problem? I say go for it.
