For me, I love all of Bebe's lyrics, but I think "Siempre me quedará" is the best: http://www.letrascanciones.org/bebe/pa-fuera-telaranas/siempre-me-quedara.php
Closely followed by "Tu silencio": http://www.letrascanciones.org/bebe/pa-fuera-telaranas/tu-silencio.php
I'd translate it, but I wouldn't do it justice. My favorite line (in English) would be: "But silence is the most eloquent form of lying." Awesome!!

I also think Ska-P have great lyrics. The ones stuck in my head right now are from "Villancico" (some vulgar words, just a warning): http://www.letrascanciones.org/ska-p/eurosis/villancico.php

Sorry to limit it to Spanish, but that's the only language I speak proficiently enough to choose a best answer (aside from English), and I wouldn't want to make you translate it because sometimes it just doesn't sound nearly as good in English.

Also, give us a link or type them out so we can all enjoy!! :)

(PS--Aside from the vulgar word they use, the Ska-P lyrics might be offensive to some people generally, enjoy at your own risk!)

"Maria Landó" is depressing, but poetic:

I like how the repetition in the lyric makes the feeling build throughout the refrain. Listen to the song to know what I'm talking about.

"Negra Presuntuosa" reminds me of a friend of mine:

I especially like
"Yo sabré reír / Yo sabré llorar / Yo sabré entregarte mi cariño."

You did not specify that it had to be a modern song. So, here is my favorite, a song by Javier Solís, who died many decades ago.
¡ A ver si te gusta !

Esclavo y Amo

No sé qué tienen tus ojos
no sé qué tiene tu boca
que dominan mis antojos
y a mi sangre vuelve loca.

No sé cómo fui a quererte
ni cómo te fui adorando
me siento morir mil veces
cuando no te estoy mirando..

De noche cuando me acuesto
a Dios le pido olvidarte
y al amanecer despierto
tan sólo para adorarte.

Qué influencia tienen tus labios
que cuando me besan tiemblo
hacen que me sienta esclavo
y amo del universo.

I love Latino music in general, but "Quizas" by Enrique Iglesias is a really moving song, and the video really made me cry the first time I saw it!
I don't particularly like the singer (I prefer his dad, to be honest with you), but I suppose you can find the lyrics on his official website!

At the moment I am all about Jenny Rivera

not the whole song but I love it

Cuéntale a tu corazón
que existe siempre una razón
escondida en cada gesto.
Del derecho y del revés
uno sólo es lo que es
y anda siempre con lo puesto.
Nunca es triste la verdad.
Lo que no tiene es remedio.

(by "Sinceramente tuyo", by Joan Manuel Serrat)

"Por ti,
por ti brilló mi sol un día.
Y cuando pienso en ti
brilla de nuevo
sin que lo empañe la melancolía
de los fugaces amores eternos..."
(Joan Manuel Serrat, "Dondequiera que estés")
