It is essentially brainwashing.
It happens in many schools and most colleges in the United States as well as elsewhere. Basically the teachers teach kids what to think, not how to think. My kids didn't experience public school like most kids. They were engaged in independent studies or private tutoring with the emphasis on why and how more than the teachers opinion about how wonderful this politician is or how bad that country is. They ask intelligent questions and make me prove the answers. They take nothing for granted.
I'm very proud of them. One is very liberal, one fairly liberal, one is mainline conservative and one makes Rush Limbaugh look like a new dealer. We do have some discussion around here. Add Dad the atheist to Mom the born again Christian. I'll tell you, if you want a position, you can find it in my house...

I've been indoctrinated to my new job yesterday and I think I'm going to like it.
