Yes it is true.
However it really isn't anything to worry about.
The first time you have sex will not be your best, but it's nothing to worry about.
The first time l had sex, after, l went to the toilet and thought the whole bleeding thing wasn't true cos it's not like it was dripping down my leg, then l done a wee, and went to wipe myself and there was some blood on the toilet roll, not a lot though.

No this is untrue. The bleeding is caused by the hymen breaking if its still intact.

The reality is that the hymen generally breaks before sex takes place particularly if the woman is active through sports or horse riding or even something as simple as riding a bicycle.

Your friend sounds ignorant and uninformed.

Yes, blood will come out. It may be a bit after the act, but the first time, and probably the second time, there is bleeding.

apparently yes as by haing sex for the first time it breaks your hymen and therefore a little blood comes out, this is how several cultures/religions tell whether a girl is pure on her wedding night

it never happened to me my first time though so maybe mine broke some other way!

Not always. The blood comes from the ruptering of the hymen but it can be broken in many ways, not just from sex. Like horse riding etc etc.

Sometimes. But a girl can still be a virgin and there is no blood.

no not always didn't you have sex ed at school? The hymen can break anytime this is was causes the bleeding. you can break this if you have been horse riding, gymnastics e.t.c not necessary through sex.
