Personally, my faith. I don't push it on people but it is definitely the anchor in my life. I know where I stand and it helps me through the hard, dark times. There's light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not an oncoming train.

The higher power, God. When we finish our mission here on earth we go to a beter place. There is a different plan for everyone, that's why i almost died about 7 or 8 times, it's not my time yet, I have not accomplished what I have been put on Earth for yet. Just try your best, help people out, & enjoy life. Live in the momment, not the past or the future. Challenges are opportunities, think about it, learn from experiences & try not to make the same mistakes twice.

An unshakeable faith in God and a desire to please Him is my greatest motivation. I've faced many problems but He has never failed to bring me through. I am motivated by my wonderful daughter and her husband who have six children and are foster parents to several more. He works very hard to support his family and my daughter is amazing in the way she deals with the mountains of laundry, meals to prepare, baths to give, tears to dry and hugs to give. I am motivated to do my best every day, even though I'm in constant pain from rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative joint disease, to find something to do for someone who is in more need of help than I am. It's really so simple. A bowl of soup for a sick neighbor, a smile for someone who has lost theirs, a card and note to a friend who's ill. As a former teacher I am constantly giving reassurance to young people that they can become anything they wish if they work hard enough and never give up. There is a history of Alzheimer's disease in my family so I'm motivated to keep my mind active by reading, learning new things every day, playing word games on the computer, watching programs that deal with important issues and current events. I crochet for charities and sew quilts for gifts for my family and friends. It's a good life and I'm motivated to not waste a second of it.

The only thing that motivates me in life is my husband. He's the only thing that has ever went right in my life. I try my best to live for him. If it weren't for his love, I wouldn't be here

Faith. Faith in myself, faith in my neighbor, faith in my future but mostly faith in God. Faith disarms fear. Fear is the problem. Once you've successfully disarmed fear, everything else in life is easy. Hope this helps.
