As far as the headaches, almost any OTC meds. Tylenol, Motrin, or if they're really bad Excedrine. For the fatigue, yoga is great and all, but get out and be more active. Run, jog, go to the gym or something. When you do this, your body releases endorphines. You will notice a drastic increase in energy and stamina. However, if the headaches come with clouded vision, weakness in the limbs, or suddenly becomes the absolute worst headache you've ever had, get to a doctor immediately. Hope this helps.

Ayurveda: To battle the fatigue that come with or after illness, drink a mixture of almond milk and herbs once or twice a day, says Vasant Lad, B.A.M.S., M.A.Sc., director of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque New Mexico. To make the mixture, soak ten almonds over night in enough water to cover them. In the morning, peel off their skin, then put them in a blender with a cup of hot skim milk, a pinch each of ginger power and cardamom an d one teaspoon of date sugar(available in most health food stores). Blend and drink. Aromatherapy: Place a drop each of rosemary (or geranium) and basil essential oils on a tissue and inhale whenever you need a quick energy boost, suggests Fair Oaks, California, aromatherapist Victoria Edwards.

Hi,
Present symptoms can be indications for many future health complications. Fatigue and headache are the common symptoms for many diseases. But, it is clear from the details given by you that you get fatigue and headache due to your work.

So, the solution is in ur question itself? I understand that you cannot sleep while you are at work in order to take rest.

But Just try to do some of these things if possible......

Even if you are busy, just take out few minutes to relax urselves by closing ur eyes, after washing them with cold water, it will not only revitalize and relax ur eyes, but as you get out of ur chair and move, it will also relax ur back muscles.

At regular intervals, just stretchout ur arms as much as you can to relax yourselves.

Coming to mental status, taking time to leave ur cabin or place of streaneous work, have a formal chit chat with ur colleagues at their place, this will not only boost ur positive energy, but will also help u further creating cordial relations.

And ofcourse, last but not the least, you say that you are irregular in yoga and meditation, I advise you to make it regular.
Yoga and meditation are the best solutions, if they are done as they are supposed to do.

During your holidays or weekly offs, Just forget ur office and try to spend time with your family and friends.

cheers.....

Set a time for meditation every day, preferably the same time as this can help you stick to a schedule. I like to meditate when I first wake up, and also for a few minutes in the evening.

Another thing that will really help is to wake up without an alarm. When you wake up naturally, your R.E.M. cycle is not interrupted. When the alarm wakes you up, there's a chance you're waking up mid-cycle, which causes that difficulty of waking up that we all experience.

I set my alarm "just in case", but when I wake up 10-15 minutes before, I try to simply get up, instead of falling asleep again and taking the chance of the alarm interrupting my sleep cycles.

Good luck, and Namaste! :)

You are probably dehydrated. Drink LOTS of water. It is recommended that people drink 8-10 8 oz glasses of water per day. If you are working outdoors in this heat, you need even more.

Booze. And no, I'm not trying to be funny. I get splitting headaches and I've been to 2 doctors and the drugs they give me don't do $hit. I find having one (you don't have to get plastered) stiff drink eases my headache. I'm assuming it's because alcohol thins the blood, thereby relieving pressure? Who knows...but it works.

drink cool milk if you have lactose tolerance before you sleep, and have a bath before you go to bed and your dinner at least an hr before you sleep. too much of tiredness also causes irregular sleep, you can feel stress free yourself by changing the environment, drink lots of water during the day. in hydrotherapy it helps you detoxify and destress yourself
