A DSP is a Digital Signal Processor. It is a "computer" that receives a "signal" (i.e. some sound, in digital format), and "processes" it (i.e. do something with it).
The DSPs are usually used to filter a noisy signal, enhance some others, or even prepare a sound for a speach processor.
The DSPs already havam written IN them.
A microprocessor is also a computer. That one, on the other hand, needs to be programmed to execute something.
You find these microprocessors in everything now, from your mobile to your fridge or washing machine!
