Every method can be adopted but in a step -by -step process. You can't become Sachin tendulkar overnight. But become greater than him with constant practice. Determination and proper planning are the MOST necessary objectives here. First of all try with the one u like the most.
for eg: try to do the things that u hate with the same enthusiasm which u do the things u like . Don't start counting the eggs right from day 1. within a month u find a great change and u will be able to teach others.

I heard that religion is good for character... choose a peaceful religion, one that places others before self.

But be careful not to let individuals spoilt anythg, there will be bad christians, muslims, buddhists, taoists, hindus, etc...

Look at the teachings and not the failable human examples...

Personally, I used to be really bad, then I got to know Jesus, and I was changed and am now a much better person...

I had already suffered from Bad temper. Whenever I get angry I count till 50 and all the anger is gone. Try it. If it doesn't work I have one more suggestion.
Drink two glasses of water or laugh aloud whenever you get angry with someone. This will help you to control yourself. Bye!!!!
