I am so sorry. Are you sure you have a proper diagnosis? I think you better go to an expert clinic. I do not want to say anything and make you mad because I do not know what you have tried, but I think you need to look at a comprhensive approach with a Psychiatrist, Psychologist and Internist. You really need a team to work out something for you. I am so sorry you are so sick. I really think they need to work on a whole lifestyle and medication regimen with you. I would look into going to a specialty clinic and get some expert care. I know you probably know that Benzodiazepines are for anxiety and that anitdepressants help as well. You have tried some in the class and are one some. You probably also know that Buspar is an alternate anxiety medication, but does not work as well for most people. I would make sure that you have the correct diagnosis because if you have something different going on another medication of another drug class may help you. Have you had your heart checked for damage to confirm the heart attack? Have you had any studies done on your heart? You really need to get medically and psychologically evaluated properly to figure out what is going on.

Medicines under doctor's professional supervision...
But a long term remedy, which is bound to make medicines, and a doctor's supervision redundant ...
Take up each cause of anxiety one at a time, weigh the options, do what can be/what should be done for some, the rest just accept them as inevitable, and close the matter ! With practice, we may even re-open 'closed' cases and be able to do something better than we expected ourselves to be able to !

I have been on a lot of these meds, and like you, anxiety has caused disruption in employment. I didn't find a lot of therapeutic benefits with meds and finally had to learn to adjust to environment, no small task, but have had some success with a counselor and finding activities that keep my busy, lots of volunteer work in an environment where I am well known. Helping others has helped me stay out of my own head, but good luck to you as not everyone with anxiety can adapt and I still have some moments where I just can't function, not to many but still enough to notice. Good luck to you and have you tried some non-traditional methods, such as self-hypnosis, exercise, proper diet. proper rest. Good luck. Peace.
