I've been having this problem for 3 years. The thing is, I never use to have this problem before. It just started for no reason. I 've never even been in a car accident. So, I know this is a mental issue. I really want to be back to normal again. I can't seem to make it over 40 mph without having to hold something or break really fast. When I drive, people behind me sometimes pass and honk their horn and I'm afraid I'll get a ticket one day from the cops. Would seeing a psychiatrist possibly help me? Is there anyone else with this same mental problem? Thanks..

I had it but it was because I was in a car accident in which a friend died. For me it was just something I had to get over. You can seek help if you want. I just looked as it as sooner or later I am going to have to drive so I might as well get over it.

The ironic thing. Im now airborne military police so lets just say with jumping out of planes and driving all the time I pretty sure I got over it. For me it just took time.

Well I don't have the same problem as you. But i get worried a lot because I have exteram Vertigo and get real dizzy. Ive been stoped 15 or 20 time for drunk driving but i Don't drink! I don't drive unless I have to. Like to go to the Dr. or to the store. I will be driving alone and all of a sudden the road will start moving up and down and side to side. Lot of time I can't even tell if I am off the road when I stop to let it clear up!! The police wants my Dr. the have my licesions took because they say I am a danger to me and everybody on the road!! But its not as bad as it use to be . Now I can tell when a dizzy spell is coming on so I stop a little faster now But they still are going to take my licesions I guess I don't know..
