A lady I know has had 1 of her yorkies for 21 years she is blind but apart from that she is still in good health.

Hello My yorkie died 8 months ago she was 13. My friend had a yorkie and she was 16 when she died. Smaller dogs live longer that large breeds. They tend to have more issues with the wind pipe area, I say this cause my sister has always had yorkies and it does seam common in that breed but a loving breed for me anyway.

I think my parents have had theirs since 1992 making them 14 human years old now!
