Go to Chptr 13 of Merck Medical Manual online. Try to compare your symptoms to get an idea. Then find a doctor. STD is extremely common and most doctors will not be embarrassed by the subject.

You have to go to your doctor or to the Genito Urinary Medicine Clinic in your local hospital. Its totally confidential. You will be screened for infection and most probably treated with suitable antibiotics that will cure you.

No prevention has worked thank God. But if you think you have something get it sorted ASAP. go to your Dr. or if embarrassed your hospital probably has special clinic for same. better to be safe than sorry. no point in asking others they could have had completely different STD. good luck.

As an infection control officer, i had seen several of them- milder infections to the most severe ones!! Most of them who came there fairly early were treated with anti-biotics and other medications and cured. Of course, AIDS is something which is problematic still!!!

Worked for local hospital and we had a GUM clinic on site which is a totally confidential sexual health clinic.

If there isn't one of them locally, GPs the best person to speak to.

i have never had 1 but i went for regular checks at my g.u .m clinic found in yellow pages they need to see if you have one then give you the right treatment
