Never put anything in to your ear like a Q tip.
Take some kleenex and put on outter ear, lean to that side and shake your head a bit.
Then take the top of your ear lobe and pull outward and upward. Then use your hair dryer.....not too hot. Just for a bit, it will help dry it out. If you still have ear problems see your doctor.

if you can't get it out by shaking your head then you should put more water in. Okay let me explain. Put some warm water on your finger and drip it into your ear, and I guess the way it works is it collects all the water together (hydrogen bonds) and drips it out together
If you don't trust me (which I understand because ...well, you don't know me lol) then you can just go get swimmers ear medication at walgreens.

If you don't have any 'swimmers ear', you can use regular rubbing alcohol. Just fill the cap about 3/4 full and pour into your ear. I always put a washcloth up there, too, just to make sure I don't spill it into my eye. It only takes about 3-5 seconds. It should do the trick!

Jump up and down with your head tilted so your ear is facing the floor. it you shake your head and still hear the water in your ear thats bad.
if you can, go to a drug store or soemething and get air-o-dry, or another swimmers ear medication. their cheap and they get the water out easily.
never use a Qtip or anything else that you would put in your ear. that will cause swimmers ear, believe me.

I have had swimmers ear many times so it is very important to for me to get all the water out of my ears. What I do it just stick my finger in my ear and wiggle it gently. If that does not work and it is in to deep and being stubborn then I stick my finger in my ear to make suction and then pull it out one of these methods works every time. Swimmers ear is not fun so get that water out of your ear.

if you place your index finger just at the base of the earhole and gently pull downwards the skin inside the ear will move causing the bubble to burst releasing the air lock...
