Jesus is a sickness of the mind it would seem, it is just a mind-virus and a very unpleasant one at that....I agree say no to Jesus or if you already have it then get some help to overcome the indoctrination that has infected your mind and made you host to this self-serving religion virus.

I have seen a number of views like this before, however this isnt true.
I have seen a number of sayings that you may be interested in
'To the victims Christianity is the anti-christ'
'I have no problem with Christ, it's the fanclub i aren't to keen on'
I doubt I got the exact same words as the quotes, but you should get the idea.
Unfortunately many Christians are prejudiced, however there are a few that aren't.
I have to confess I have remained silent at times in Cell groups, eg when Gay Marriages became legal, I remained silent even though I disagreed with the way the others in the room were reacting against the law.
I am of the opinion that God is Love and therefor love can never be wrong.
I am a christian, as you have probably already worked out, however among the people I count as my closest friends there is at least one Pagan Wiccan, and at least one bisexual, I have nothing against them, and I treat them the same as I always have, as my closest friends, and I trust them with everything, and I hope they do the same.
In my eyes Jesus made a new covenant in the New Testament, with only two laws,
'Love the Lord your God with all your Heart all your mind and all your soul' - If your God is different to mine so what, you love your God and I'll love mine.
'Love your neighbour as you love yourself' - if you look at the parable he tells after this (the tale of the good Samaritan) he shows that it was not the religious people who helped the man lying wounded and beaten in the road but someone who had been raised to be against him and his religion, and not only did he help him he took him to an inn and paid for him to rest promising to pay anything else when he returned.
Basically Jesus loved others and was said to associate with sinners and they were among his closest friends. It is just that Christians today do not follow this teaching.

The actions of many "christians" do not necessarily reflect the teachings and actions of Jesus. It is a fact the high standard set by Christ himself is not really a cinch for most of us to follow. And this is also true to other religions as well. If we come to the bottom of it all the religions in the world teaches love and peace. But our ignorant of the spiritual law and fundamentalistic stands on our religions are what causing all the problems we have had today. Many of us would say we are christians but probably only a handful live and die as christians.

In the actions of many christians, jesus wouldn't appear to do all these things but He did. Those guys with the signs are wrong. God does not hate "fags", nor does He hate ANYONE. No matter what you do, GOD DOES NOT HATE YOU. He hates the sin inside of you. God created you, and why would He create something He hated? Ephesians says "we are God's masterpiece".
P.s. in case this is news to you, Christians aren't perfect. we are just forgiven for our imperfections. No one that has been walking with Christ for any length of time says that life got more perfect. Life is life, for we are all on the same earth. But the child of God has a different persepective of life.

I think I love you! Well said. Jesus, if he truly did live, was a wonderful man that preached love and kindness. So who the hell are these people calling themselves Christians? I have REAL Christian friends that DO follow the word of Christ, and are some of the nicest, most open-minded and caring people I've ever met. Too bad they're probably the only true Christians in the world.
I bet if Jesus is up there he's shaking his head in disgust.

well it sounds like a lot of people haven't the foggiest idea what Jesus would do,that's the reason every things so screwed up, they ask the question to themselves but the answer come back what they would do, and of course, being human beings they do what ,they think and don't pay any attention to the still small voice, telling them what to do,they do what they want to do,that's stubborn human nature, not Jesus's nature,so don't blame Jesus because humans are weak minded, all humans are weak minded, very ,very few or disciplined enough to listen to the right thing,as to what would Jesus do!

I'm not Christian, and I assume you aren't either.
Your logic is flawed, and I'm sure you know it as well. I agree there are too many Christians out there that preach hatred.
But Jesus did not.
Please don't sink to their level by spreading hatred too. It always saddens me when people talk about how Christians don't respect other religions, but they don't respect Christians or their beliefs.

You're right. I think Jesus might have been a Dead-head though.... either that or one of the big sign carriers AT the Dead show. Hm... either way, the Grateful Dead are definitely involved.

Interesting point.
Maybe the question should be: Would Jesus do that?
