A Level 3 qualification is either an A Level or the equivalent of an A Level. At A Level, 71% would normally be a low A or a high B.

70 - 80% = C
60 - 70% = D
50 - 60% = E
40 - 50% = F
30 - 40% = G
0 - 30% = Ungraded/U
