As far as I know, no dogs or humans can become infected by Feline leukemia.
The disease is caused by a virus which then causes cancer. Yes it is contagious, however vaccination can prevent it. Not all cats die from it. Some cats recover and become carriers. Females may pass it on to their kittens via the milk.

No, its not possible for a dog to catch Feline Luekemia. But it is possible for your dog to be seriouslly ill.

If you're worried enough to ask if your dog can catch Feline Luekemia and he/she is showing signs of sickness and/or lack in strength/appetite then you should see a vet immediantly.

If your dog is perfectly fine and showing no signs of sickness then dont fuss over it. Just take your pets regularly to the vet for check up.

As the name says it is FELINE LEUKEMIA, and no dogs can't catch just like they can't infect cats with the cat flu, in any case cancer is not transferable in humans or in animals, therefor if the dog has no cancer in their bloodline then there is no way that your dog will get the cancer leave alone cat leukemia. Hope this answers your question

no, dogs (or humans) cannot catch feline leukemia. Only cats can get it.
It is a kind of cancer, but it is caused by a virus. A few kinds of cancer in anmals are caused by vira (=viruses), but so far none of the human cancers are known to be infectious

I don't think that dogs can catch feline diseases, but to be 100% sure you can call your vet and ask them.

This may only apply to humans, so excuse my ignorance, but isn't laeukemia a form of cancer (blood cancer to be more specific)? So since when is cancer contagious?

No, that is why it is called "feline" leukemia not canine leukemia
