Hi,
Ofcourse they can and may divorce.Although the conditions are varying from one order to another within the religious groups yes they can.
But divorcing overall both for man and woman is not supported , recomended att all-This should always be the last option.
Family institution is very important and protected by the religion itself. So it is always better to keep married. Also Hz.Mohammed says your religion is not complite unless you are married.Because there are lots of teachings in marriage that one should pass and learn to become a good person in the society.
All the best

Muslim women are allowed to divorce their Husbands. Islam was one of the first religions to give women the right to divorce. I think you have them mixed up with Jewish women they aren't allowed to divorce.

Yes, she can, but not in a way we on the West do it. If her husband didn't keep the promises given to her family before the marriage, if he's abusive, if he treats her disrespectfully, the Muslim woman usually enjoys a full protection and support from her family. But if she falls in love with another man, that's something entirely different. Then she's an adulteress and her family is ashamed of her.

she can.. a muslim woman can ask for a divorce due to certain reasons and if her husband refuses, she goes to court and the court grants her the divorce with all her post marital rights
however if she doesnt have a reason for the divorce she could be granted the divorce in the case that she gives up her post marital rights and returns his dowry back to him
