Everyone is God's children with a specific duty to do in this world. Sometimes, we get deviated from our motto due to our 7 internal enemies(Lust,Anger,Greed,Fear,"Infatuation,"Vanity and Jealousy). Then someone proves to be our saviour and shows us the right way. This is all the same for every religion, and you need not be a "true christian only" to realize this. Well, if you don't realize that there is no basic difference between the root cause of the existence of all the religions, there will be no fruitful result of asking this question for you. They are only ways to reach our goal. The more the opinions the more are the ways to achievement.
Now, if you want to understand the writings of Bible and match them with any other writing you will land into a confusing phenomenon.
To understand this, you have to realize that there are two parts associated with visualisation. One is vision, what actually is being seen, and the other is perception, what you understand you are viewing. For example, when you see a cross-you actually see a cross and you perceive it to be the same cross on which Jesus was crucified.
This leads into different perception of the life of Jesus. In every life there are chunks of material which are the important parts. You put them in a jar, they fill up the jar but you still have space for smaller stones. It seems that the jar is filled but you will still have some space for sand which settles down into the empty spaces. Here comes the irony. Some say the chunks are important, some say the pebbles, and some says the sand. There is always importance for every bit in this world. But only those matters to you whom you can see.
Similarly, for some people, what Jesus did to show us the way was important, for others the very fact that He was one of us seemed to be enthusiastic, and alas, some even tried to find out the points which might cast an illusion of false concept.
We must not deviate from accepting the positive truth, even though criticism is important.

Now, you see, these are my opinions. If you follow it you will not follow other opinions. But, that doesn't mean that they are wrong.

When you go to the top, there is only one thing that matters, liberation of mind and soul.

GOD IS GREAT!

I am a true Christian and have no idea what you are asking.

Christ died for our sins and rose again to be at the right hand of God. To my knowledge, it's never mentioned that he went to hell.

As for only true Christians only understanding what you are asking, I recommend that you word the question in a way that it's clear to be understood than to make people try and guess what it is you are truly asking.

~*~Update~*~ I got an email from this poster with this comment....."if you were a true christian then you would be able to answer it right God bless" ..........Only because I am a "true" Christian will I not tell you what I'd otherwise want to.......how dare you accuse me of not being a true Christian, you don't know me to make such statements about me. I stand by what I said, the question doesn't make sense. Get your facts together, form a question that makes sense THEN post a question that is worthy of an answer.

If you don't want to hear the answer then don't ask the question.

I believe that Jesus was a truly blessed person. Maybe he was the Son of God, maybe he was just a someone dedicated to God, but it is much easier to believe that he died on the cross than that he is true Son of God.
But that is not so important for me. The important thing is the faith he left behind and the hope he inspires.

Yes, Jesus Christ is the son of God, yes he died and conquered death for us.

I believe that everything written in the bible is true, however in the cases of many of the laws, I often feel that it is better to follow the spirit of them than the actual words, for example the laws about firstborn animals (Deuteronomy 19 - 23). The laws need to be put into context, like laws about going to see priests about spots or blemishes on the skin, now we have products that will help us sort these out.

I agree with Johnny what exactly is a true christian. Most Christan's are into paganism and they do not even see it. They do not see the hypocrisy of that Church. Well in order to anwser your question christ said to the pharissees you make them two fold the child of hell that you are! And he also states I am not from this world. So if you apply both and think you will see that this may be hell. Oh and by the way do not enjoy your stay cause you will be back to sufffer worse.

All religion is a crock. It is the opiate of the uneducated masses, and I cannot for the life of me understand how any educated person can buy into all the mythology. Today, it is a big money business. If you take away the tax exemptions for the church real estate, make preachers pay their fair share of income taxes, and tax the income of the churches like the businesses that they are, you will see a dramatic drop in the number of churches and the billions of dollars plowed into television ministries will stop instantly. It is all about preying on weak minds. Don't believe that you have to be strong to believe the bible, you just have to be brainwashed, this goes for all religions, not just christianity.

You have 5 questions asked about Jesus Christ. The answers to all of those 5 questions are yes, yes, yes, yes and yes. Except for the question regarding: He went to hell and broke the bondage for us; there is a little addition to that, He went to Hell and raised all those who were in Hell and believed in him before his coming, or believed in the salvation of God that shall come to free the Jews or Mankind, He raised them to Paradise among whom were Adam and Eve themselves. However, you never mentioned how He conquered the Devil by raising himself from death on the third day, and ascending to sit on the right hand side of God the Father. This is very important to mention too.

i know what a true christian is. I used to be one. the christian churches do not tell people all that is true. I have found that my own spirituality is bringing me closer to good and the right way of life than following what someone else is "guiding" me to do. Jesus was on earth and did die for people. His life was about making the world a better place and change it for the good. people have taken his words and twisted them and used them to hurt and kill and scare other people just because the believe differently. the people who do believe the same as them get taken advantage of through their money. not only do christian Church's do this, but organized religions in general through out history have done this. it is even going on right now.
you should be able to make your own choice in spirituality. don't let anyone tell you that what you feel in your heart is wrong.
go with spirituality and not religion.
blessed be

haha how can yuo say you're a christian but say you only believ parts of the bible? that's totally hypocritical! Saying you believe in God but don't believe what he tells you is worse than saysing "Ya he's my frined, but he's kind of a wanker."
I believe in the bibile, That God made the earth in 7 days, and Jesus died on the cross to save us from hell, rose again and asended into heaven, and will come back again! I believe in the baptism of the holy spirit and the gifts of the spirit, the great comission and 5-fold ministry. it all makes perfect sense!

"only true Christians can understand what i am asking."

Jesus was supposedly never a man filled with pride, or judgement of others. Maybe you should re-read the bible a little bit more. Arrogance is in a way, a sin upon itself. Keep that in mind darling. WWJD? I doubt he would be rude, or claim only he knew something, or his people only knew. *shakes her head*

UPDATE: LoL I got an email from the little kid also, he's only 15 *gulp* I thought it was an adult for some odd reason, a drunk one at that but still lol He tried to rebuke Satan in my email out of my soul.. Pity I'm not Satanic o.O

I bet God gets a lot of giggles out of some of his followers.
