did adam and eve have bellybuttons?

That depends on the theory you wish to follow and the belief you have chosen or grown up with.
If you believe Adam and Eve were created by God and humans were exclusive creations of God, then it would be illogical for them to have had bellybuttons, since they are the scar of the umbillical chord and Adam and Eve would never have been in a womb.
If you believe in modern Darwinism and that all living creatures evolved from a prior form of life going all the way back to single-cell organisms, then Adam and Eve would be part of a legend. In this case they might have been in a situation a bit like "Blue Lagoon", where they were indeed in an isolated place and grew up knowing nothing of the outer world. Then they would hve had belly buttons because born from another "prehistoric" great mother.
There are however still people (a minority) who believe that we were created as an experiment by other beings, which we see as God(s). Then the question is still debatable: were they created from an existing base of ancient apes and added DNA and born from a womb or artifical womb, then they would once again have had belly buttons. If they would have been created from sratch through some special technique, they would not have.

Yes, they did. The creation story is only 6000 years old, while hominids have existed for at least 3.15 million years. Ancient man is faaaaaaaaaar older than Adam & Eve. Genesis was never meant to replace science books, Adam and Eve were not the first humans in existence. So yes, they had bellybuttons.

Someone mentioned lint. Ew, nasty! Only those with lint there would say that, right? (hehe!)

Of course not, the belly button is a scar from the unbillical cord, which comes from growing in a womb. Adam and Eve didn't have parents, so no womb, so no unbillical cord, so no scarring, so no belly button...

Freaks. :p

no. belybuttons are scars from the womb. Since Adam and Eve were never in a womb, they didn't have them.
